Kevin Conroy’s Blue Rooster Flies through the recession with focus on SharePoint users

GYB-Blue-Rooster-01-Kevin-Conroy-RGB-280Our client, Kevin Conroy of Blue Rooster, has been sailing through the recession by combining his two favorite things; technology and wine. His tech company has incorporated a small tasting room for his winery, 509 Wines, which produces 600 cases per year.

Why the name Blue Rooster?

“My attorney was pressuring me to form a corporation and I was referred to as a ‘rare bird’ on a Microsoft document. So I Googled rare birds and a blue rooster came up”, says Conroy.

After the beginning of the economic pinch in which he was forced to downsize, Conroy decided to focus on developing the Microsoft SharePoint consulting business. In the following years, Blue Rooster has grown rapidly, opened a New York City office and now is looking to open a European office in 2013.
